This was my own design & constructed collection named "Cultural Imperialism"
A nostalgic vision of my childhood experiences of Kutchi & African Cultures inspired me to create a densely constructed heavily accessorized collection.
The cultural embroidery from Kutch & the elements of Masai's Layered drapes of different fabrics interpreted into modern silhouettes of paneled & structured Jackets, Skirts, & Trousers. A slew of African razzmatazz with tribal accessories & cultural props to dramatize the look.
